Divorced and free, Piper Hillard decides to put as much distance between her ex-husband as she can. She moves to a small suburb of Portland Oregon to begin her new life with plans to get a job, finish collage and buy a house of her own. A chance meeting in a coffee shop with ex-hockey player and sports therapist, Jeoff Stevens, starts a chain of events that make Piper question everything she has ever believed. He insists that her power and confidence will grow as she learns to let go of her control and submit her heart to him. But none of this makes sense to Piper! As her questions are answered, she discovers a part of herself that has been missing for years. Her trust grows, as does her ability to get into trouble, and her inner child begins to come forth. Did Jeoff really know what he was getting into when he claimed her as his primary submissive and his Little?
From the Author There are very few ‘primers’ that are available to welcome and educate ‘newbies’ into the various aspects of the Age-Play/BDSM lifestyle. Instead of giving you, my readers, a dry and indifferent ‘how to’ book, I thought the explanations would be more enjoyable if I wrote about real people in a real situation. The actual characters (and several locations) in this book are fiction, but their lives, questions, experiences and situation.

I have read and/or own almost every book on Amazon by Breanna Hayse. She writes from her personal knowledge of the AP lifestyle. The DDLG dynamic is beautiful, I believe, and it warms my heart to read about these relationships. I was a bit disappointed in this book, not because of the story itself, but because it came across as a bit "preachy." It must be very difficult to have a character try to explain what being a little is all about without coming across as too clinical. The characters here are anything but cut and dry. There's a lot of emotion packed into this book and some tension with several story lines. It is still a wonderful book. I just wish there was a little less preaching and a little more focus on the relationships, which is what makes this author so wonderful.Product details

I loved the book. I don't like stories that I can predict what's going to happen. In Breanna Hayse books I never know what is going to happen and it keeps my interest 100%. Piper is independent in her own way but still needs the security of direction, safety and care. Her Dom is dedicated to show and give her just that and more. Great story.
I have enjoyed this author's work, and although this book has its moments, the Dom in this book is abusive and arbitrary. The Sub is attacked by a another woman and the Dom does not support her, but uses it as an excuse to beat her with a bundle of birches. By the end of the book I HATED him and that caused me to downgrade this title to a three.
The title implies that a little is involved; the summary implies age play is involved. Not once do Jeoff and Piper engage in any type of age play. The summary is true about it being a “D/s primer” but many good authors add this into their writing.
The story starts great as the main characters, Jeoff and Piper, meet and date… without dating! Piper is fragile because of her past and recent divorce and wishes to start anew. She can’t strike any better with Jeoff who is so attentive to her. But she will soon learn that he is a Dominant and is involved in the BDSM lifestyle. Since I’m not involved in it, it was very much instructive to learn, as Piper, about the old-school lifestyle and the specificities of the Age Play style. It is very comforting to see how much Jeoff is devoted to please but also care for his submissive. Discipline will be introduced slowly and with her full consent. Evidently, the author knows what she’s talking about and we can assume that she might have dug into her own personal lifestyle’s experience. It is a very nice HEA romance with realistic characters that introduce us in the best possible manner to a special BDSM lifestyle.
This book gives a great description of what Age-Play and DD is. The storyline and conflict keeps you wrapped up the whole time!
Love the author, the story line was excellent telling how to break down feelings & then finding true love, getting hurt , catching bad guys. Can't wait for next book to come out.
I love this book. It has such genuine feelings that every page I learned something new!
Ms. Hayse shows you how age-play can open your heart to new things. How a submissive has all the power and it can bring light into your darkness!
To take this Journey with Piper and Jeoff's eye opening and you can begin to understand how freeing age-play can be!
